Hina Khan Remembers Times Spent With Late Father, Says Keep Smiling In Heaven

Hina Khan shares photos of father: Television actor Hina Khan recently took to her Instagram Stories and shared a series of photos with her late father. Khan's father passed away on April 20 due to a cardiac arrest.

The Naagin 5 actor also added little notes along with the throwback photos shedding light on the special bond she shared with her dad. In one photo, she wrote to her father, Aslam Khan, "Just keep smiling in heavens my angel." She captioned another picture, “I know you will watch our back.”

Hina Khan also posted a family photo on IG Stories, recalling the time they all watched the sunset together. The former Bigg Boss contestant wrote, " I know you will watch our back. We will always be together."

Khan, who had two releases – a film Hacked and web show Damaged 2 – last year, wrote in a recent post, "A Helpless Daughter Who can’t even be with her mother to comfort her, when she needs her the most". The post came when she tested positive for COVID-19 soon after losing her father. Khan further wrote how difficult and challenging the ordeal has been for her family. She also informed her followers on social media that she was following the guidance of her doctors, taking all necessary precautions, and was home quarantined.

Khan was shooting in Kashmir for a music video when her father passed away last month. The actor returned to Mumbai the same day.

On the work front, Khan's film, Lines, marked her debut in Bollywood, however, the film's release was postponed for her thriller, Hacked. The Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor also won the best actress award for her film Lines at the Montgomery International Film Festival (MIFF) in the USA this year. Recently, she went on to sign her first Indo-Hollywood project, Country of Blind, which is directed by Rahat Kazmi. She was last seen in the music video Bedard, which also featured singer Stebin Ben and actor Sapan Krishna.
