Looking for Gangubai Kathiawadi OTT release schedule? The film was released in theatres in February of this year, but those who missed it will soon be able to watch it online. Here's what we know so far:

Gangubai Kathiawadi is a film about a woman named Gangubai who flees her home with her lover in the hopes of becoming a movie star. But, as fate would have it, she is fooled by her lover, who sells her to a Mumbai brothel. She accepts her new life and moves on, unable to return home and leave the brothel, which is controlled by a madame named Sheela Mausi. The film begins with Ganga's transformation into Gangubai and how she rises through the positions, eventually seizing command of the business and her life. Gangubai is shown as a compassionate person who cares about the other sex workers in her life and strives for their rights and advancement.

Alia Bhatt plays Gangubai/Ganga, Seema Pahwa plays Sheela Mausi, Varun Kapoor plays Ganga's cheating lover Ramnik Lal, and Indira Tiwari plays Gangubai's best friend Kamli in the brothel. Gangubai develops feelings for Afsaan, a young tailor played by Shantanu Maheshwari. In the film, Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, and Jim Sarbh play pivotal roles. In the song 'Shikayat', Huma Qureshi makes a cameo appearance.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed the film, which is based on selected chapters of Hussain Zaidi and Jane Borges' book "Mafia Queens of Mumbai."

Gangubai Kathiawadi became the first Hindi film to break the 100 crore milestone in 2022. Last year, the film's release was repeatedly postponed due to theatre closures caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. There were rumours that the film might soon be released on OTT. The film's creators, on the other hand, chose to wait out the pandemic and distribute the film in theatres. Two months after a successful theatrical run, the picture is now set to launch on the OTT platform.

Netflix produced a short video on April 20 revealing its OTT debut date. From April 26, the blockbuster film Gangubai Kathiawadi will be available on Netflix.
