Starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandes and Varun Sharma in important roles, this movie directed by Rohit Shetty is set in the 1960s and features a circus and its members in the focus. The film is the story of two identical twins that are adopted by two different families living in different cities. However, things get complicated when years later, one of the twins decides to move to the city where the other works in a circus.

This Nayanthara-led Tamil horror thriller was released in theatres on December 22. The movie is set against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic and features the story of a mother-daughter duo. While the country is under lockdown, a mother begins to observe strange changes in her daughter's behaviour and seeks help from a priest who suggests doing an exorcism virtually.

Laththi is a Tamil film that was released in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages as well on December 22. The movie stars Vishal Krishna, Sunainaa and Prabhu in important roles. It tells the story of a police constable named Murugnatham who is trapped inside an under-construction building along with his 10-year-old son Rasu by a politician and has to find a way out to ensure the safety of his son.

Starring Ravi Teja, Sreeleela and Jayaram in important roles, this Telugu movie is about an anchor who joined radio after resigning from television and is frustrated with his life and job. One day, he receives a threatening call while on air and the caller begins to call him regularly from thereon. Hence, he decides to convert these dangerous calls that he receives on air into an opportunity. The movie releases on December 23.

This Telugu romantic movie starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran in pivotal roles shows a love story of two people from completely different worlds and releases on December 23.. Sid is a tech-savvy who lives a fast-paced life in the city while Nandini is a girl who suffers from short term memory loss. She keeps a diary to write about her daily life which gets into the hands of Sid who sets on a journey to find her.
