According to the trailer of the political drama, Bapat, in the role of Poornima Amre will be battling her own father while the people of the state are at stake.
Bapat took to her official Twitter account on July 19 to share a poster from her upcoming series and captioned the same as, "The Gaikwads are at war again and the people of their state are at stake. Who will win? Baap, Beti or Rajya?"
Hailing from Mumbai, the 34-year-old model as well actor is best known for her appearances in Kaksparsh and Aamhi Doghi for which she received the Best Actress award at the Screen Awards in the year 2013.
She is also acclaimed for Happy Journey which made her receive the Best Actress Maharashtra State Award and a nomination for the Best Actress category at the Marathi Filmfare Awards in the year 2014.
