NCB Summons Ananya Panday: Actor Ananya Panday could soon reach the Narcotics Control Bureau headquarters in Mumbai after being summoned by the agency. NCB had conducted a raid at Panday's residence today, following which she was summoned for enquiry at 2 PM today. The agency has also seized the actor's mobile phone and laptop. Now, the 22-year-old actor's father, Chunky Pandey has revealed that the family is seeking legal counsel.

"We have received no communication from Ananya Panday yet if she is coming today or not. We had summoned her today," said NCB Deputy Director General Ashok Mutha Jain. There is no clarity on whether any banned substances were ceased from Panday's house during the raid or not. Soon after the raid, Panday's father was seen arriving at her apartment.
Panday is said to be friends with Aryan Khan, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan and designer Gauri Khan. Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 with his friend Arbaaz Khan from a cruise ship on October 3 where numerous people were found to possess banned substances.
According to an NDTV report, Panday's name surfaced in WhatsApp chats of one of the accused in the cruise ship drug bust case. Meanwhile, Aryan Khan's bail plea was rejected by a special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court on Wednesday, October 20. The Bombay High Court will now hear his bail plea on October 26.
