Cast of Bell Bottom: The trailer of Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor starrer Bell Bottom will be launched on August 3. Aiming to bring back viewers to the cinema, this spy-thriller is based on a true plane hijack incident from the 80s in India. The film was the first Hindi film to be filmed in an international location, Glasgow, during the pandemic.

Bell Bottom is set to premiere in theatres, releasing in 3D, on August 19. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the film stars Kumar in the lead role. Kumar took to his Instagram handle yesterday, to announce that they will be dropping the trailer of the film on August 3. Sharing a new poster, the actor wrote, ''Sharp memory, national level chess player, gaana sikhata hai, Hindi, English, German bol leta hai! Baaki bataayenge trailer ke saath." He also announced the new trailer of the film will be released on August 3.

Vaani Kapoor
Kapoor, who was last seen in the 2019 film War, reportedly plays Kumar's wife in the film. In a recent interaction with IANS, she called Kumar "one of the icons of Hindi cinema today" and opened up saying that she is "fortunate" to have got the opportunity to work with him. She went on to reveal that she has a small but "impactful" role opposite Kumar.
Kapoor made her Bollywood debut next to Sushant Singh Rajput in the film Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013. She was later seen in Befikre with Ranveer Singh. Apart from Bell Bottom, she also has Shamshera along with Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in the pipeline. Kapoor will also be seen in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui with Ayushmann Khurrana.
It is reported that Dutta essays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film, who was in power at the time of the incident. She has an extremely pivotal part to play in the entire narrative. Dutta won the Miss Universe pageant in 2000 and became the second Indian to win the crown. Incidentally, she made her Bollywood film debut opposite Kumar in Andaaz, in 2003. She has featured in movies such as Housefull, Partner, No Entry and Don 2. This is the first time Dutta will also be seen sharing the screen with Kumar after Singh Is Bling, which released in 2015.
Huma Qureshi
Not much has been revealed about Qureshi’s role in Bell Bottom but the makers have confirmed that the actor will play a key role in the film. Qureshi has been in news because of her recent international project Army of The Death, a film by Zack Snyder. She also portrayed a role inspired by former Chief Minister of Bihar, Rabri Devi in the series Maharani.
