Bollywood actor Dia Mirza took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy on April 1. She posted a photo of herself in a red dress in which she is seen cradling her belly.

"Blessed to be...One with Mother Earth...One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything...Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs. Of new saplings. And the blossoming of hope. Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb," she captioned her photo. The photo was taken by her husband Vaibhav Rekhi, while they were vacationing in the Maldives.

Dia Mirza got married to Vaibhav Rekhi In February

Bollywood actor Dia Mirza had tied the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15. This was the second marriage for both Rekhi and Mirza. Rekhi was previously married to Sunaina Rekhi and has a daughter with her, while Dia was married to Sahil Sangha.

Vaibhav Rekhi and Dia Mirza's wedding was held at her residence, and only family members and close friends were invited. The wedding was praised for breaking various traditions such as Kanyadaan and Bidaai. It was conducted by a woman priest too. Besides that, Mirza claimed that the wedding was conducted in a sustainable manner, such that no plastics were used.

The newlyweds had also gone for a vacation to the Maldives, along with Vaibhav Rekhi's daughter (from his first marriage) Samaira Rekhi.
