Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan and her friend Amrita Arora tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) accused Kapoor and Amrita Arora of violating COVID-19.
As per reports, the Mumbai corporation has sealed the house of Kapoor and has alleged that her family is not cooperating with them. After questing them, the BMC found that Kapoor’s husband and actor Saif Ali Khan is not in Mumbai. BMC has alleged that Kareena Kapoor and friends attended many parties in town going against the guidelines.
BMC Allegations Against Kareena Kapoor:
The family has reportedly has not revealed when Saif Ali Khan will be back in Mumbai. He has been away since one week now. Since the officials have not found any travel history of the celebrities so that will not be sending their samples for genome sequencing. Direct and indirect contacts of Kapoor and Arora are still being traced and the BMC reportedly has also set up a testing camp in Kareena Kapoor’s building. In case they find the need later, they will be sent for genome sequencing. A testing camp has also been set up at Amrita Arora’s building. The celebrities are currently under home quarantine.

Kareena Kapoor took to her social media late on Monday and confirmed that she has tested positive for the virus. The actor said that her staff and family members are undergoing testing and are following all the adviced guidelines.
There were several reports that the celebrities attended a party organised by directed-producer Karan Johar recently where they tested positive. Actor Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor and designer Seema Khan have also tested positive. Actor Karishma Kapoor, Malaika Arora and designer Masaba Gupta were present at the gathering. The party was organised at Karan Johar’s house last week on the occasion of his film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum reaching a milestone.
