Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 New Release Date: Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has got a new release date. The movie is all set to hit theatres on May 20, 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was earlier scheduled to release on on March 25.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the sequel to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s horror comedy released in 2007, stars Kiara Advani and Tabu. It has been directed by Anees Bazmee and written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios.
It is all set to release on 20th May 2022, in cinemas near you," a note from the makers read.
Kartik Aaryan has been keeping fans intrigued about the film as he keeps sharing updates about it. He keeps posting BTS pictures, motion posters to give his fans a sneak peek of the film with his co-stars Tabu and Kiara. According to a report, Kartik and Kiara shot the film in the snow-capped hills in Manali.
Anees Bazmee recently revealed that Vidya Balan is all set to return as Monjulika in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel. A source close to Mid Day had stated, “Their (Vidya and Anees) equation goes back to 2011 when Vidya made a cameo appearance in Anees’s film Thank You. She made the character of Monjulika, a ghost of a royal dancer, memorable. Vidya will be seen dancing to Aami je tomar again or appear after the climax.”
Anees Bazmee said, “If the film is Bhool Bhulaiyaa, she (Vidya Balan as Monjulika) has to be there in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Let the rest be a surprise!”
With the new release date, the movie will now not clash with SS Rajamouli’s RRR which features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The movie is a work of fiction based on the younger days of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju.
