Anupamaa Namaste America Release Date: TV show Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna has been garnering from all quarters of the country. It has become a household name in India and now there is something new coming up that the TV show's fans can look forward to.

Actor Rupali Ganguly, who essays the lead role of Anupama in the show, took to social media and unveiled the teaser of the upcoming prequel titled Anupama: Namaste America. In the video, she talks about an important incident that happened in Anupama's life 17 years ago that transformed her life.  She also revealed that the special 11-episodes show will be released on 25 April 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. 'Dekhiye Anupama ki zindagi ka vo panna jo aaj tak kisi ne nahi dekha! Hotstar Specials Anupama: Namaste America streaming from April 25.", read the caption of the Instagram post. It has been liked by 95.4K people so far.

Unable to contain their excitement, a lot of netizens took to the comment section and expressed their eagerness to watch the show.

Anupamaa’s prequel will comprise 11 episodes. It will take the visit to Anupamaa’s life a few years into her marriage to Vanraj essayed by Sudhanshu Pandey. He also plays the role of her husband in Anupamaa.

The show was first released on television in July 2020. In fact, more than 500 episodes of the TV show have already been released so far. Anupamaa has been adapted from a Bengali series named Sreemoyee.

Anupamaa revolves around a housewife who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and financial independence after her marriage falls apart. In the process she also finds love in the form of a old classmate who comes back into her life.

Rupali Ganguly made her acting debut when she was 7. The film she acted in was Saaheb and it was released in 1985. She made her TV debut with the show Sukanya in 2000. Later, she rose to fame through her her performance in her popular TV shows namely Sanjivani, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Zara Nachke Dikha, Meethi Choori No 1, Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai season 2, Adaalat, among others.
