Ankahi Kahaniya Release Time: Ankahi Kahaniya is an upcoming anthology that stars actors like Abhishek Banerjee, Zoya Hussain, Kunal Kapoor, Nikhil Dwivedi, Palomi, Rinku Rajguru and Delzad Hiwale. It comprises short films directed by prominent directors Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Abhishek Chaubey and Saket Chaudhury and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua Sara.

Abhishek Chaubey’s segment features actors Rinku Rajguru and Delzad Hiwale. Saket Chaudhary’s segment, on the other hand, features actors Kunaal Kapoor, Hussain, Nikhil Dwivedi and Palomi.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, in an interview, said that she wanted to challenge herself as a storyteller and be a part of an anthology as she wanted to explore a different side of film-making. Her previously directed films include Bareilly Ki Barfi and Nil Battey Sannata.

“I just jumped at this because I knew I would get to explore a different side of film-making and make a story which would help me rediscover some nuances that go missing while directing in the long format,” she  said adding that making a short film enables film-makers to try out new things in terms of story and characters.

In her story, actor Abhishek Banerjee is essaying the role of a salesman named Pradeep who finds a companion in a mannequin. He is a 36-year-old actor best known for his performances in the horror comedy feature Stree and Amazon Prime Video web series Paatal Lok. 

It is set to release to premiere today (September 17) on Netflix. In the last few months, anthologies like Navarasa and Ray have premiered on the platform and have received mixed reviews.

The release time of Ankahi Kahaniya is  from 12:30 PM onwards.
