Alia Bhatt Signs With WME: Highway actor Alia Bhatt recently signed a contract with one of the leading talent management agencies of Hollywood, William Morris Endeavor (WME). The contract is a hint that the actor maybe looking for acting opportunities overseas.

As per reports, WME also represents actor Frieda Pinto, known to have worked in Hollywood projects like Slumdog Millionaire, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Immortals.
WME also manages internationally renowned talents like Jessica Alba, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Whoopi Goldberg and Christian Bale. With Bhatt’s foray into Hollywood, the actor will be joining prominent stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and the late actor Irrfan Khan who are known faces in the US entertainment circuit.

Bhatt was last seen in 2020 film Sadak 2. Her next release will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi. While the film is slated for a theatrical release this year, its fate remains uncertain as cinemas bear the brunt of COVID-19 pandemic.
Among her other projects is the film Brahmastra, in which she will feature alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, and is directed by Ayan Mukherjee.
The Dear Zindagi actor will also be seen in the multi starrer magnum opus RRR helmed by SS Rajamouli. The movie will feature actors NT Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Olivia Morris. Check out Alia Bhatt's look as Sita from RRRhere.

Bhatt is currently shooting for the upcoming dark comedy Darlings alongside Shefali Shah, who starred in the Emmy award-winning Netflix show Delhi Crime, and Vijay Varma. The film will also mark her debut as a producer. She is also set to be the leading lady in Karan Johar’s comeback into direction with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. In addition to these, Bhatt also has Baiju Bawra and Takht in her kitty.
