Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor could soon grace the couch on Koffee With Karan season 7, in order to promote their upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha, which is a Hindi remake of iconic Hollywood film Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks.
Several fan pages for the actors have posted images of Khan and Kapoor on the sets of Koffee with Karan 7. While Kapoor has appeared on the chat show hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar on its every season, in the company of her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor, her cousin Ranbir Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan among others, Aamir Khan has only appeared thrice on the show so far.

Kickstarting earlier this month, thus far this season has featured Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sara Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. The Liger co-stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday appeared in its fourth episode, which was aired on July 28.
Kareena Kapoor had dropped hints to her fans about her upcoming appearance on the show on Wednesday, when she shared pictures of her supposed attire for the appearance on Instagram, along with the caption, “I like my Koffee black.” Fans were left wondering if she would be a guest on Johar’s show after reading the caption. A user commented,” So yesterday you did shoot for Koffee With Karan,” “When is it telecasting!!! Can’t wait,” wrote another user.
Apart from Laal Singh Chaddha, Kapoor will soon be seen in Hindi adaptation of hit Japanese suspence novel The Devotion Of Suspect X, a Sujoy Ghosh which also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma and will have a direct OTT release.
Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Advait Chandan, will also feature actor Mona Singh in a prominent role. She has worked with both Khan and Kapoor closely in Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots.
The film is set for a theatrical release, after multiple delays due to the pandemic, on August 11. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s film Raksha Bandhan will also be releasing in cinemas on the same date.
