Meet The YouTuber Aaliyah Kashyap Who Doesn't Mince Words While Calling Out The Trolls

Aaliyah Kashyap Youtube: Hindi filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and film editor Aarti Bajaj’s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, fell prey to trolls, who decided to defame the 20-year-old for sharing a photograph in lingerie.

On Friday, Aaliyah took Instagram to post screenshots of rape threats and derogatory comments she has been receiving. She mentioned in her recent post that the past few weeks had been really hard on her mental health.

In addition, she called out rape culture, and added, “If you truly disagree with what I post, then you are free to unfollow me. Nothing I do or post is an invitation for sexual assault. Nothing any woman does, ever can be.”

However, post her ordeal on social media, several celebrity kids came out in support of Kashyap such as Alaviaa Jaaferi, Suhana Khan and Alanna Panday. Also, she was praised by female actors Kalki Koechlin and Madana Karimi.

Previously, in a YouTube video shared on Aaliyah’s channel, she opened up about being a “delicate individual” who struggles to handle the “social media negativity”. 

“I simply realised that it doesn’t matter as a result of these are individuals hiding behind their telephones and don’t have anything higher to do and I actually, simply block everybody. If there’s something even remotely unfavourable on any of my social media, I simply block them as a result of I would like my social media to be a constructive place,” she mentioned in the Ask Me Something session.

Aaliyah Kashyap is a social media influencer with 208k Instagram followers and a YouTuber with around 44k subscribers. Also, Kashyap is the new brand ambassador for designer Babita Malkani’s brand.
