Actress Alia Bhatt is one of the highest-paid Indian celebrities. Money is very important in Alia's life. In a conversation with Economic Times, Alia Bhatt said her investments are all taken care by her chartered accountant and her mother, Soni Razdan. Her first Investment was in a fashion startup in 2017. It was an exciting opportunity for her. Alia has never invested in Gold.  She bought her first house in Juhu, which was the first property she ever bought. She bought it four years ago.

When she was asked What are the investments that she has blind faith in. Alia smiled and replied, "Mutual funds are good — so, I’ve been told." Alia was 19 when her first film Student of The Year released. But according to Alia she still doesn't understand investing. Over the years she has learned more. Alia said "My CA does that but it’s literally all handled by my mum. I don’t even get into it, but my mother lets me know what’s happening. I’m happy this way. As long as I’m a little aware." She further said, "I like to know how much I made in a year or that we’re investing this much or putting this much in charity."

"Who's retiring?"

When asked about Health Insurance Alia said that she wants to have global health insurance as she has to travel a lot. She was also asked about her retirement plan, to which she laughed and replied, "Who's retiring?" Alia was also questioned whether she can live within a budget. Alia said that she probably can as she doesn't spend much.

Travel is the best form of luxury

When Alia started living alone, she used to maintain accounts in the first few months. But now as she is barely home, her mother does that for her. Alia also talked about whether Money can or can't buy happiness. She said "Yeah it can’t buy happiness. But it can take you places."  Further, she added, "I don’t mean metaphorically, I mean physically. Travel is the best form of luxury. It makes you feel so small." She also added, "The world is so much bigger. It opens up your perspective."
