Zahab Kamal Khan Sets World Record After Donating Hair For Charity
On 26 August 2021, zahab cut her 61 inches hair, donated to Children With Hair Loss, and booked her name in the Guinness World Record for the most amount of hair donated to a charity by a single person.
Zahab Kamal Khan: 30-year-old Pakistani origin squash player in the USA, is in the headlines for her Samaritan act. Growing and maintaining long hair can be challenging for many, but Zahab, who lives in Northern Virginia, kept growing her hair for the past 17 years.

Zahab cut her 61 inches hair on 26 August 2021 and donated it to a non-profit organisation Children With Hair Loss. With this, she booked her name in the Guinness World Record for the most amount of hair donated to a charity by a single person.
According to the reports, Zahab had stopped cutting her hair when she was 13. Since then, she managed her hair and grew them up to 6 feet long.
She finally got her haircut after 18 years, only for a good cause. Zahan has donated her hair to an American organization called "Children With Hair Loss", which helps in providing free hair substitute to children who lose their hair due to medical illness.
Taking to her Facebook, the Pakistani immigrant squash player Zahab shared her picture in which she is smiling at the camera and holding her hair. In her caption, she wrote "donating 5'1 to Children With Hair Loss."
In her caption, she also revealed that the this idea was her father's brainchild, whose advice changed her life and her dream finally coming true after 18 years. Although, Guinness World Record is yet to recognise Khan's donation.
In an Interview with ABC13News, Khan shared that the secret behind her long and healthy hair is her grandma's hair oil. Zahab told the local media that she's feeling nervous and excited as well to live with her short hair. She also admits that she will miss her hair, which she kept growing for 18 years.

Currently, a Chinese woman Xie Qiuping currently holds the Guinness World Record for longest hair in the world.
