Haryana: 6-Year-Old Girl Identifies 93 Aeroplane Tails In A Minute, Sets World Record

"We noticed that her memory is sharp and she is skilled so we thought of encouraging her more so she could achieve something bigger," says Aarna Gupta's mother.

Haryana 6-year-old girl sets world record: Aarna Gupta, born in Panchkula, Haryana, has registered her name in the International Book of Records by identifying 93 aeroplane tails in a minute, The six-year-old achieved the certificate on July 1 this year with her learning ability and sharp memory. She goes to a Chandigarh-based school.

Aarna was encouraged by her parents, particularly by her mother, to learn more, ANI reported on Wednesday. " I always wanted to do this. My mother always motivated me to learn and grow more. She has been the force behind this practice so now I can remember every details," the child prodigy said. Her mother Neha Gupta says she recognised her ability when Aarna was just two years old. "We noticed that her memory is sharp and she is skilled so we thought of encouraging her more so she could achieve something bigger," her mother noted.

The official Twitter handle of the International Book of Records states, "The World Record of MOST AIRLINES IDENTIFIED BY THEIR AEROPLANE’S TAILS IN ONE MINUTE is achieved by AARNA GUPTA on 1st July 2021 from Panchkula (Haryana) India. She identified 93 airlines by identifing their aeroplane’s tails in one minute and has set a new world record for International Book of Records." The young record holder has thanked her parents, teachers and the school for this achievement.

Aarna had also held a World Record performance of recognising and reciting names of 120 world-famous personalities in 92 seconds on August 20, 2020.

In June this year, a 13-year-old girl from Hyderabad has set a new record by breaking 84 ceramic tiles in 84 seconds.  Gana Santhoshinee Reddy, a Karate black belt holder said she decided to break 84 ceramic tiles since it will be 84 months since Telangana was formed on June 2, 2014. She mentioned that she had practiced for about 5 to 6 months on daily basis and have broken several times during the practice to achieve this speed and thus set a new record, ANI reported.
