Bhumi Pednekar Launches Environment Footprint Calculator For World Earth Day

World Earth Day Bhumi Pednekar: Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar along with her Climate Warrior advocacy initiative launched the Dolce Vee Environmental Footprint Calculator on occasion of World Earth Day.

"On Earth Day, I will be giving pieces from my wardrobe a new life with you, and also launch the Dolce Vee Environmental Footprint Calculator so you can see your very real impact by choosing pre-loved," said Pednekar. She had joined hands with thrift store Dolce Ve for the same.

Pednekar added that anyone could be a 'Climate Warrior' with this initiative, and urged people to donate their clothes and accessories which are in good condition for a charity sale. She then directed her followers to DM on Dolce Vee's official social media handles for the same.

Pednekar also said that the people who participate in this initiative will be given an estimate of the water and carbon savings for their contribution.

Dolce Vee founder praises Bhumi Pednekar for her commitment towards the environment

Dolce Vee's founder Komal Hiranandani praised actor Bhumi Pednekar for her commitment towards environment and conservation. "Bhumi's commitment towards environmental conservation is genuine and untiring. We couldn't be prouder to work with her for this launch," she said.

Recently, Bhumi Pednekar announced that she has turned into a 'COVID-19 warrior.' She said that she will be having a 'highlight' on Instagram which will help people find plasma requests, donors, medical supplies, and other COVID-19 resources. She also said that she will do her best to verify all the contacts and phone numbers that are being shared with her on a daily basis. She further requested her fans to DM her only if they are in genuine need of help, and directed them to share their name, contact number, city, hospital, and other details. The actor also requested her followers to DM her only if they were in need of genuine help, else she might end up missing out on someone who really needs it.

The actor had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 5, and had isolated herself in accordance with the COVID-19 protocols. On April 17, she had revealed that she had tested negative for the virus.
