Wonder Woman Appears Dubai Burj Khalifa:

The most anticipated film of the year Wonder Woman 1984 took over Dubai’s Burj Khalifa on Tuesday night. The world’s tallest building powered up in celebration of the release of Gal Gadot-starrer Wonder Woman sequel in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia theatres on Thursday (December 17).  To amp up the excitement before the theatrical release, Gal Gadot's face flashed on and then the footage from the film’s trailer was played, accompanied by an audio soundtrack, as part of a unique video experience created the event.

Talking to Arab News, Gadot, ahead of the show on Burj Khalifa, had said, “I’m so excited! Please take a photo and send it. I saw the model of what it should be looking like and it’s insane. I’m so, so honored."

“I would love to (visit Dubai) and I wish all of you guys happy holidays and I wish you all health and happiness,” said Gadot.

Stressing on the significance of her character, a female role model, she expressed, “I realized the power of these movies. I’m a big believer that when you see it, you think you can be it, and then you become it. I didn’t have the opportunity to see all of these strong female characters (growing up). Now I’m seeing the way that it affects my daughters, and also boys and men, and all different type of people. It’s so powerful, and it’s so strong, and I feel very grateful that I have the opportunity to be a part of this.” The second installment in the franchise will again feature Gadot as the fierce Amazon warrior Daina Prince.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 is releasing in the US on Christmas Day. HBO Max subscribers can also watch it for free at home. The makers have also released the opening scene of the sequel. Check out the post:

In India, the film will release in theatres on December 24. Here's the official trailer:

Wonder Woman traces the origin of an Amazonian warrior and Princess of Themyscira. The film is based on a popular DC Comics character and went on to become a blockbuster, grossing around 822 million dollars. It is also the most successful live-action film directed by a woman.
