Work pressure, life expectations and the need to put one’s best foot forward during all times can be a Herculean task for many. While being complacent thwarts your growth and giving up is not an option, what do we do to keep ourselves continuously going?
Well, we all have our inner lives that demand to be recharged from time to time. This is, in fact, the best way to handle the mounting pressures of life and stay cool amidst chaos.
SheThePeople.TV spoke to some women entrepreneurs to know what they do to invest in their inner lives.

Travelling the Ultimate Stress buster

Jyotsna Atre, Founder of Kids’ Edition rejuvenates herself through travelling.
“Every now and then, I need to pack my bags and get away from the bustle of everyday life. Traveling is an incredibly rewarding hobby. It opens your mind, de-stresses you, and rejuvenates your soul. Being in a new place, soaking in a new culture, and meeting new people is a very therapeutic experience. Even a weekend in the mountains has the power to re-centre me”.

Plants Make you Happier

Travelling is one activity Latika Wadhwa, Founder of Mompreneur Circle and MastyleCare also looks forward to in order to revitalise herself.
“Me and my husband take a break from work once a month or two months and travel that again is a great stress buster and boost our energies. The productivity in work always increases when we return back from travel.”
In fact, she kick-starts her day by watering the plants on a daily basis.
“Coming close to nature always imparts coolness within me and makes me stay fresh and relaxed the whole day”.

Kids as source of infinite joy

Priyanka Sharma, Founder of Grow Green Happiness, admits that striving to be the best as an entrepreneur and a homemaker, she sometimes make her feel too low and drained. That’s when she relies upon her daughter and the magic she spells that helps her regain her strength and mental peace.

“When my daughter shows off her moves, I can’t restrict myself from wearing my dancing shoes and be a part of her innocent world who knows nothing about outside struggle for survival. Not only my daughter being the inseparable part has given meaning to my life, I also have a beautiful family and friend group to keep me moving and inspiring. During my idle time, having sweet and crisp conversation with the loved ones is the best thing that I always look forward. Moreover, weekends are the most awaited part when I get to spend time with my super busy husband and go out to watch movies and have fun which just rekindles our bond”, she says adding that this gives her the courage to conquer the world again.
