PM Modi said in this digital five-minute interaction with the child that youth like Pereira are the way forward for the country. He delivered the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022 on the occasion of National Day of the Girl Child on January 24.

Pereira disclosed that she lost her father when the Prime Minister commented that her family must have suffered a lot to help her. Her mother has brought her and her brother up in a pleasant environment. Modi expressed his admiration for her mother after hearing this.

The youngster stated that her mother's desire to make her daughter a fantastic dancer inspired her to study the art form. "I owe a lot to my mother and family," the young woman told PM Modi, adding that she would attempt to spread the richness of Indian tradition around the world.

  •  She is the younger sister of Ronaldo Rockson and the daughter of Gladis Celine and the late Everest Pereira.
