Viral Video of Gymnast Girl: Nadia Comaneci, five-time Olympic gold medallist, took to social media on 15th August and retweeted a video of a girl performing jaw-dropping stunts. The place where she is exhibiting her skills seems to be a gymnastic training centre.
The girl is dressed in a in a red shirt and sweatpants. Netizens are awed by the little girl's flexibility as she performs back to back stunts. The video has garnered over 4.7 million views on Twitter.
"Wow. Such talent.. composure.. flexibility", reads her caption.
Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag also shared the clip of the performance and wrote "Humans can do all things if they will," as caption.
A lot of users praised the girl for her stunts and flexible body while there were some who showed genuine concern and wondered if such stunts are good for the child's health.
"Although this is impressive, one has to consider her age. If she were to continue to have her body's ligaments, tendon's, muscles and even bones disarticulating to bend in such unnatural ways, she will no doubt have arthritic changes in her bones by the time she is 20.", a user commented.
Another user, however, applauded her and said, Good grief people instead of all these negative comments can we applaud her for her superhuman Talent If she was little Becky on Willowbrook Farm you all would be standing up cheering. I'm giving the little one a cheer!!!"
