In a four-minute and twenty-eight-second long video, a number of women in camouflage pants and hats was seen unlocking and tackling the opponents.

Combat training is one the most important part of being a commando. According to the Director-General (DG) Alok Raj, initially, the women commandos were trained in Patna, Dehri-on-sone and then eight-week rigorous training at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Mudkhed training centre in Maharashtra for advanced training. Raj added that all commandos are capable of close combat battling and Naxal warfare.

In the video, the girls are also seen breaking sheets of brick with their hands and unarming their opponent when in the situation of hand-to-gun combat. The video also showed them dealing with attacks from the back and in unfavourable situations when their hands are tied back.

All of these women ">commandos who are trained in jungle warfare counter-insurgency and anti-terrorism will be subsequently deployed in the security of VVIPs like the Special Security Group (SSG) of the state police, who are responsible for the security of the Chief Minister of Bihar.

Along with combat training in extreme conditions, they were also taught to handle weapons like Self-Loading Rifle (SLR), AK-47 (1947 Kalashnikov model is a shoulder weapon), INSAS rifle (a light machine gun), MP 9 (machine pistol) and MP5 (semi-automatic guns).

"Women commandos of police have been selected from various corps. In this, two of our office bearers have played a very important role. After selection, they were given training and now will be deputed as per the requirement," said DG Raj to ETV Bharat.

On June 26, 134 personnel from 13 battalions of the BMP, Swabhiman Battalion and Mahila Battalion were selected for the commando training. From the ones selected, only 92 were sent for further training at Mudkhed.
