Minor gangrape video: Two men reportedly raped a 16-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur and uploaded a video of the act on social media. Reports suggest the incident took place two months ago but came to light only this week when the survivor's father came across the purported video of the gangrape.
The girl's mother filed a police complaint in the case and claimed her daughter had even attempted suicide following the incident, an India Today report says.
The two accused have reportedly been taken into custody and booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. The girl has reportedly undergone a medical examination and will record her statement in the case.
