The general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party of the Tamil Nadu unit, K T Raghavan, is accused of sexual harassment. He resigned after having a meeting with the BJP chief of Tamil Nadu, K Annamalai.

Madan Ravichandran, who had joined BJP last year had shared the videographic evidence on his Youtube channel. The channel he runs has about 141,000 subscribers. According to Ravichandran's claims, he had probed into the sexual harassment complaints which were received by the political party.

In his statement, he also said that he has video evidence against 15 state BJP leaders accused of sexual harassment and exploitation. Ravichandran also said that he chose to upload Raghavan's video first as he claims to be "Mr Clean".

In the video, the face and the voice of the woman is blurred and muted as she is doing the 'sting' for the public, Ravichandran said. He added that he has showed the video to the BJP Chief Annamalai.

K T Raghavan reacted to the video and tweeted his response saying, "Dharma will win". He has denied all the allegations made against him and also added that he would face them legally. Raghavan who is a lawyer himself said that he has a 30-year-long career “without any problems” and the video alleging sexual harassment is meant to tarnish his image only. He said, "People of Tamil Nadu know who I am. Those who are associated with me know who I am."

Jothimani who is the Member of Parliament representing Congress said in her statement, "There is video evidence that he has misbehaved with a woman and that has to be investigated." She added that she will file a complaint against Raghavan with the police.
