I’m A Stripper: Woman Tells Parents Through Detailed PowerPoint Presentation

A woman from a viral video is seen using a PowerPoint presentation for revealing her profession to her parents.

A video went viral in which a girl identified as Lex from Portland is breaking it to her parents that she works as a stripper with the help of a  PowerPoint presentation. The video is being applauded for her parent's reaction to her job as a stripper as they talk about 'sex positivity and a powerful job'.

In the video, Lex has her parents sitting comfortably in front of a big screen where she is giving the presentation. Lex stands next to the screen and runs them through the PowerPoint presentation. The video is being taken by her sister Sami. It was later posted to TikTok from where it went viral.

Lex starts with "Today I reveal to you a secret" and then says, "OK, now, before you start worrying or getting excited, this secret pertains to my life and affects no one else." She adds, "Any guesses you have, you will be wrong. I'm telling you simply because I want the people I love and trust the most to know what's going on in my life and to have the joy of sharing my journey with you."

Clearing the doubts in her parents' minds, Lex tells them about the common myths and quickly runs them through those slides and says, "What this secret does mean: I'm talented, I'm cool, I'm powerful." She adds, "What this secret does not mean: I'm pregnant or in danger."

Finally breaking the secret, Lex says, "I'm a stripper!".

Lex goes on to tell her parents about her profession and says that she does pole dance which she loves. In the video, she is also heard saying, "Well, it's a sex-positive environment and I can express myself safely. It's a performance... theatrics if you will." She talks about the full anonymity in the club environment and the money she makes doing that and also how she pays taxes and that it isn't an under-table income.

Her parents react in a supportive manner where her dad has one question in mind - How much money are you making? While her mother says, "I really appreciate you being forthright and sharing your life with us, and I'm glad you are powerful."
