Three Men Sexually Assault Woman Who Was Trying To Protect Her Brother From Them: Report

Delhi woman sexually assaulted: Three men were arrested on Saturday in two separate locations in south Delhi for allegedly sexually assaulting a 25-year-old woman and robbing a truck driver. The Police claimed that the suspects were Yogesh (26), Naveen Lohmod (25) and Baljeet (30), all of whom live in Aya Nagar.

Police also found a car, Rs 5,200, and other documents in the accused's possession.

Delhi Woman Sexually Assaulted, 3 Arrested

A senior police officer said that on the night between Thursday and Friday, police received reports that a woman had been sexually assaulted by three to four men who had also attempted to rape her and ripped her clothes off.

Police arrived on the scene and spoke with the survivor, who said that three men in a car had a fight with her brother. They sexually assaulted her when she came to save him, the officer said, adding that a case had been filed at Fatehpur Beri police station under relevant sections.

After arriving at the scene, complainant Shahjad (30), a truck driver, claimed that while he and some labourers were unloading bricks from the truck, three men approached and began assaulting and beating him and his labourers, according to the officer.

Police said the accused then took his wallet, which included Rs 30,000 and other documents.
