Snake Found In School's Midday Meal

Students of Mandalpur Primary School in Mayureshwar II, West Bengal fell ill after consuming lentils from a pan that also cooked a small snake with it.

The students had consumed the midday meal when the school staff saw the snake while serving lentils. Everyone was asked to stop eating.

According to officials, around 20 students out of the total 53 were present in school during the time and all students were rushed to the hospital after they fell ill.

Delhi Court Rejects Bail Plea Of Man Who Urinated On Woman During Flight

Delhi's Patiala House court denied bail to Shakar Mishar, accused of urinating on an elderly woman while drunk on an Air India flight from New York, United States to New Delhi.

Mishra's counsel said that while the accused's actions were obscene, he did not intend to outrage the modesty of the woman. During interrogation, Mishra told police he "blacked out" during the flight.

The public prosecutor said, "Intoxication can never be a defence".

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal asked the police to file an FIR against social media comments on the daughters of cricketers MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

Maliwal took to Twitter and asked in Hindi, "If you don't like a player, will you abuse their daughter?" She also shared screenshots of the tweets in question.

Maliwal said the accounts were making "lewd comments" by posting pictures of the girls and saying "nasty things".
