Shefali Shah has been nominated in the category of Best Performance by an Actress for her outstanding work in the second season of the highly acclaimed Netflix series.

This is a notable achievement given that the first season of the series, titled Delhi Crime, had previously secured the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series in 2020, marking a historic milestone for Indian television. Delhi Crime, appreciated worldwide, highlights Shefali Shah's capability to choose narratives that carry a powerful social message, transcending geographical boundaries.

In the Best Performance by an Actress category, Shah's performance stands alongside remarkable talents worldwide. Her fellow nominees include Connie Nielsen for her role in the Danish series Drommeren, Billie Piper for her portrayal in the British show I Hate Suzie Too, and Karla Souza for her exceptional work in the Mexican series La Caida.
