About Radhika Kumaraswamy's Alleged Involvement

During its probe, CCB had found a large sum transferred from Swamy to the Sandalwood actor. After the news came to light, Kumaraswamy in a press conference on Wednesday sought to clear the air, saying, "I knew Yuvraj since 17 years and he was close to my father. I didn't know what his background was or how he cheated people which I'm getting to know now."

As per reports, she also explained the amount in question. Rs 15 lakh was deposited from Swamy's account while Rs 60 lakh from his brother-in-law's account for acting in a period film Swamy was producing in which Kumaraswamy was to star, she said. However, investigations have found no written agreement between the two parties over the signing of a film.
