Pune Food Delivery Agent: A food delivery agent allegedly molested a Pune woman in the Pimpri Chinchwad area of Maharashtra’s Pune late at night on September 12. A case has been registered against the man, according to police officials.

The incident reportedly took place in Wakad late on Sunday night while the man was riding past the survivor in the Pimpri Chinchwad area of Maharashtra’s Pune. A case has been registered against the unidentified accused under relevant sections of the IPC.

An official from Wakad police station said in a report, “The complainant was on her way home after closing the eatery with her husband and son around 11.45 pm, when a food delivery man came on a motorcycle from behind and allegedly passed a remark and touched her inappropriately, outraging her modesty.”

The police added that the complainant runs a small eatery in the area with her husband.

Reportedly, the police officials currently examining the CCTV footage from the area to ascertain the identity of the accused

In yet another horrific incident reported from Maharashtra earlier today, a 12-year-old allegedly raped a five-year-old neighbour in Palghar, Maharashtra. A case has been registered in Boisar police station against the minor accused under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

According to reports, the boy allegedly abducted the girl and took her to the terrace of the residential building where they used to live and raped her there. The case of sexual assault was confirmed by the doctors later.

The five-year-old reportedly shared details about the incident on her parents’ insistence and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. According to reports, the survivor has sustained injuries in her private parts.
