Actor Varsha Priyadarshini Helps A Tribal Girl Namita Melaka Achieve Her Dreams

Recently, Namita Melaka from Chintaguda village in Koraput district recorded her first song.  It was a dream come true for the girl.

Recently, actor Varsha Priyadarshini came forward to help a tribal girl, Namita Melaka, after listening to her sing the Hindi song ‘Mai Teri Chunariya’ on social media. Namita came into limelight when her song went viral on social media. Priyadarshini said she wanted to be a part of the girl’s journey by helping her and inspiring her to achieve her dreams.

Priyadarshini is an Indian film actress and a former model. She predominantly works in Bengali and Oriya movies. The actress shared the video of the girl on Twitter and praising her, she tweeted, “What a magical voice she has, God gifted talent. My sincere prayers & blessings to dear little sister Namita for her bright future. Talent should not be hidden. I would like to be a small part in her journey to help her & inspire her to achieve her dreams & be successful & set an example for all the youth talent who wish to fulfill their own dreams. I would like to take an initiative to start her career with a Jagannath bhajan with sangeet guru’s guidance. God bless you dear Namita. Believe in yourself & Be unstoppable."

Recently, Namita Melaka from Chintaguda village in Koraput district recorded her first song.  It was a dream come true for the girl when she recorded a devotional composition dedicated to Lord Jagannath in a studio in Cuttack on Sunday.  The four-minute-long composition was written by lyricist Bijay Malla in both Kui and Odiya dialects. The recording took place under popular music director Prem Anand. The music video will release soon on YouTube as reported by Orissa Post.

The Koraput district administration has also extended assistance to the class 10th student Namita Melaka for her education, reported ommcomnews. Namita along with her father have also met the DM of Koraput.

About Varsha Priyadarshini

The actress was born in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. She completed her education from the Sailabala Women’s College and currently is a leading actress in the Oriya film industry. Varsha Priyadarshini made her debut with the film, E jugara Krushna Sudhama in 2003. In 2008, she did her first Bengali film Jor.
