30-Year-Old Mathura Woman Found Dead, Suspected Electrocution, Husband Missing

The deceased woman's father, Arvind Kumar Verma, lodged a complaint at Mant police station. He alleged that Smriti was electrocuted by her husband.

In Mant area in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, a 30-year-old was found dead. An electric wire was tied to the deceased body. It is a suspected case of electrocution. The woman's husband is missing thus identifying him as prime suspect.

The 30-year-old has been identified as Smriti is a resident of Radha Niwas in Vrindavan. She was allegedly electrocuted by her husband identified as Vipin the police has said added. Vipin has since been missing. SP (Rural) Shrish Chandra said "The actual cause of death would be ascertained after receiving the post-mortem report".

Mathura Woman Found Dead:

The deceased woman's father, Arvind Kumar Verma, lodged a complaint at Mant police station. He alleged that Smriti was electrocuted by her husband. The police reportedly broke the lock of the house and retrieved the woman's body upon complains of foul smell. The body has been sent for an autopsy.

Sneha Chavan, actor from the Marathi film industry, recently filed a case of domestic violence against her husband and fellow actor Aniket Vishwasrao. She alleged Vishwasrao, with whom she tied the knot in 2018, harassed her and was envious of her fame. Her complaint further claims physical assault on the part of her in-laws.

According to the NCW data of 2020 titled “Nature-Wise Report Of The Complaints Received By NCW In The Year: 2020”,  a total of 5,297 cases the number of cases under the section “Protection Of Women Against Domestic Violence”.
