Kashmir a talent pool

The snowy hills of Kashmir have pools of talent indeed!

First, it was Kashmiri cricketer Jasia Akhtar who got selected for the Indian national women cricket camp. Then the Jammu and Kashmir Women’s Rugby Team rose to fame.

Also, who can forget the 8-year-old Kashmiri girl, Tajamul Islam? Tajamul had created history by winning the gold medal in the under-8 for India in the World Kick Boxing Championship held in Italy in November 2016.
