Kangana Ranaut Tweets, says she doesn’t ‘Start’ a fight but always ‘Finishes’ one

Kangana Ranaut says she never starts any fight. In a tweet she questioned all ‘feminists’ and said ‘will they say sorry’ if the municipality was proven wrong about her house being illegal? Ranaut has been in a war of words with many in Bollywood and on social media, the latest one being where in an interview Ranaut called Urmila Matondkar ‘a soft porn’ star. This triggered a large number of Bollywood stars coming out in defence of Matondkar.

Ranaut is quite active on Twitter and speaks her mind. Even earlier, she has been seen tweeting against Rhea Chakraborty, Shiv Sena, Kunal Kamra, Karan Johar, Swara Bhasker, and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

However, in a tweet shared on late Sept 17th night, she said she would quit Twitter and claimed that she never ‘starts’ a fight but she ‘finishes’ every fight. She gave the example of Lord Krishna and said ‘when someone asks to fight you must not deny them.’ Ranaut tweeted, “I may come across as a very ladaku person but it’s not true, I have a record of never starting a fight, I will quit twitter if anyone can prove otherwise, I never start a fight but I finish every fight. Lord Krishna said when someone asks you to fight you mustn’t deny them.”

In a recent interview, she called actor Urmila Matondkar a “soft porn star” and even made an insensitive remark by comparing the demolition of her Mumbai office to rape. You can read more here

Following this incident, Matondkar challenged Ranaut to share the names of drug addicts in Bollywood, reported the Hindustan Times. She also questioned the Queen actress and asked her why she has problems with everybody in the industry. 

Swara Bhasker also tweeted words of appreciation for Matondkar after Ranaut’s remark. She said “Dear @UrmilaMatondkar ji, remembering ur outstanding performances in Masoom, Chamatkaar, Rangeela, Judaai, Daud, Satya, Bhoot, Kaun, Jungle, Pyaar Tuney Kya Kiya, Tehzeeb, Pinjar, Ek Hasina Thi.. among others and have marvelled at your acting chops & brilliant dancing! Love u.”

Anubhav Sinha also tweeted for her, “Just felt like saying this to one of the most beautiful, elegant, evocative, expressive actresses ever. Sending you love @UrmilaMatondkar”
