Jhansi Bride Appears For Exam In Wedding Attire Right After Wedding Ceremony

The importance of women's education cannot be emphasised enough. Despite several attempts to spread awareness among people regarding the education of girl children, there are still people who don't teach their daughters and believe that they belong at home. However, a recent example of a bride appearing to write her exam coming directly from her wedding venue showcases the increasing value of prioritising education above everything else.

In most parts of India even today, a girl's marriage is more important than her education. Girls have to leave their education incomplete if they get engaged and there are very few women who get to continue their education after marriage. They do not have a strong say in deciding their future but they have to understand that they need to take things in their hands instead of sitting and waiting for someone to help them.

Just like this Jhansi bride who did not wait for her vidaai and decided to give her college exam in her bridal dress right after getting married.

A video recently went viral online in which a bride, reportedly named Krishna Rajput, reached the venue of her college exam in her wedding attire. She just gotten married and was yet to have her vidaai but she had her college exam on the same day and decided to give it in her wedding dress only as she didn't have time to change.

She reportedly said that her wedding date was decided beforehand but when the university exam dates were announced, her sociology exam clashed with her wedding date. They couldn't change either of them and hence she decided to give her exam after the wedding and said that she could wait because her exam is equally important.

A similar incident happened in Gujarat where a bride had to give her college fifth-semester exam in her wedding attire because her wedding date and exam date collided. She was accompanied by her family and her groom to the exam venue to encourage her and got married after giving her exam.

There was also an incident from Karnataka where the bride had to give her college exam right after her wedding because the university released the exam date sheet after the wedding date was decided. These brides showed that it is possible to give equal importance to education as well as your married life if you know how to prioritise things and have a supportive family who knows how important your education is.
