After Two Years Of Her Husband’s Death, Woman Gives Birth To Their Baby

Husband death
Lauren McGregor and her husband had planned to have a child together. Chris, unfortunately, passed away in  July 2020 after being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. Almost two years after Chris’ death, Lauren has now given birth to her late husband’s baby. How? She was able to conceive post husband death using sperm frozen by Chris.
She waited nine months after he died before starting the IVF process. The baby took birth on 17 May by a planned C section.
In an interview, she said that she didn’t feel the need to introduce the son to the photo of his dad – it just felt like they already knew each other. “He’s just given me a little piece of himself from wherever he is now,” said Lauren.

She also added that she looks more like his dad every day. For instance, he had a thick head of hair with a perfect M’ shaped hairline, just like his father. His lips have also filled out just like Chris. Chris also has an 18-year-old son Wade from a previous relationship who acts like a father figure to his baby brother. He carries Seb to the hospital and does all the things a big brother or father is expected to do.

Laure is quite happy with the heart-warming gesture shown by Wade. She feels that there aren’t many teenage boys who would even think of that but it was something he wanted to really do for his dad.
