Gorilla Glue: After more than one month of staying in a glued down ponytail, Tessica Brown, aka the gorilla glue girl is finally free.

She had gone viral after putting a heavy-duty adhesive on her hair and it didn't come off. To get rid of the glue, Brown met with a plastic surgeon named Dr Michael Obeng. Brown recorded the entire procedure on her TikTok and exclusive pictures and videos were only accessed by TMZ.

According to reports, there was no severe damage found in Brown's scalp and the doctor said that she was "very very lucky" that the glue didn't give her any serious injury.

What really helped the Gorilla glue wash off?

Dr Obeng said that he used medical-grade adhesive remover acetone along with organic solutions aloe vera and olive oil. He was also reported saying that the chemical in her scalp gave her irritation but eventually the surgery went well. Though the doctor had to give Brown steroids to help in inflammation.

He said," the hair was actually very, very tough, very, very matted down, and it would not lift up."

It is good to know that the Gorilla glue is finally cured of her misery lets just hope nobody goes through something like that. Even the doctor warned," I hope that you guys will learn from Tessica’s injuries, or Tessica’s ordeal — make sure that anytime you guys grab something, make sure you read it."

The glue company made an official statement on Twitter and apologised for their strong adhesive. "We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair." They added that they glad to know that Brown has gone through treatment and that they wish best.
