Fun Bucket Bhargav Earlier Booked For Sexual Assault Of Minor Arrested Again: Report

Fun Bucket Bhargav Arrest: A TikTok star, who had been arrested earlier this year for alleged sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl was again taken into custody this Friday, as per some reports.

According to some local media reports including Tv9 Telugu, the social media personality was taken into police remand till November 11. He was on provisional bail after getting arrested in April for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor from Pendurthi Vepagunta Sinhapurikalani and impregnating her.

After being released on temporary bail, Bhargava allegedly made obscene statements on social media in violation to the court orders against him. Hence the Disha police reportedly arrested him again on Friday and brought him back to court. Earlier this year he had stayed in detention till May 11 as per the orders of a POCSO special judge. The parents of the survivor filed a complaint against Bhargav after they came to know that the girl was pregnant.

The TikTok fame had allegedly approached the girl on social media and after facing rejection he started to blackmail her.

Disha Assistant Commissioner of Police, Prem Kajal said, “He had proposed to the survivor and she had rejected him. But he blackmailed her saying he had her explicit videos. The survivor is also pregnant.”

Bhargav’s mobile phone and car has been confiscated by the police after his arrest. he has been produced before the Judicial Magistrate. A case has been booked against Bhargav under section 376 (Punishment for sexual assault) and section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman) of the Indian Penal Code.

Fun Bucket Bhargav is also booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

After the rape case came to light, Nithya, a 15-year-old TikTok star who rose to fame with Fun Bucket Bharghav was identified to be the survivor. But Nithya quickly came to clarify that she is not the girl of the case and has nothing to do with the case. People have been warned by the police to not share the survivor’s photo on social media. They said that strict action would be taken against anyone who did.
