• Fun Bucket Bhargav rose to fame on TikTok, when the short-form app was still available in India, with his 'OMG' style videos. Teen TikToker Nithya collaborated with Bhargav on these videos.
• On April 18, Bhargav was arrested in Hyderabad for the alleged assault of a minor content creator.
• The issue came to light when the family of the survivor filed an FIR against him at the Pendthurti police station, April 16. They claimed the survivor was four months pregnant.
• Bhargav was arrested by the Visakhapatnam police, who said, "he committed penetrative sexual assault against her making her pregnant," as per reports.
• The TikTok creator was booked under relevant sections of the IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
• After the incident made headlines, and fans speculated whether Nithya was the survivor in question, she came forward to rubbish the rumours. "It is true that Bhargav got arrested, But I’m not related to that case in any way... Meme-makers and YouTubers are using my name," she said in a video shared online.
