Known for his jaw-dropping stunts in the realm of extreme sports, Lucidi's life came to a devastating end after he fell from the 68-storey Tregunter Tower complex in Hong Kong.

According to reports by the South China Morning Post, Lucidi was attempting to scale the towering structure when tragedy struck. The daredevil was discovered lifeless at the scene of the incident, leaving the entire community in shock and disbelief.

Remi Lucidi's Tragic Death

Witnesses recount the sequence of events that unfolded on that fateful evening. Lucidi was allegedly seen at the Tregunter Tower complex around 6 pm, informing the security guard at the gate that he was there to visit a friend residing on the 40th floor. However, subsequent reports suggest that the alleged friend denied any acquaintance with the daring daredevil.

Despite attempts to halt his progress, Lucidi managed to elude the security gate and gained access to an elevator. CCTV footage captured him arriving on the 49th floor before ascending further, using the stairwell to reach the pinnacle of the building.

As he ascended, people noticed an open hatch leading to the roof, but the daredevil was nowhere to be found at that moment.

It wasn't until 7.38 pm that Lucidi was spotted alive, tapping urgently on the window of the complex's penthouse. The frantic sight alarmed a maid inside the apartment, who swiftly alerted the police.

Eyewitnesses report that the daredevil appeared to be trapped outside the penthouse, desperately seeking help and knocking on the window, but tragically lost his balance before assistance could arrive.

Authorities discovered Lucidi's camera at the scene, and it contained heart-stopping videos of his awe-inspiring high-rise stunts. While the circumstances surrounding his fall are still under investigation, the police have not yet released an official cause of death.

A post on the Frenchman's Instagram account emerged only five days before the sad tragedy. The caption stated "Hong Kong" and included a photo of Times Square in Causeway Bay. Following the incident, many social media users wrote "rest in peace" notes in the post's comments area.

Further investigation of Lucidi's online presence found additional images of his dangerous exploits. Throughout the year, he was photographed climbing and standing atop high-rise structures in places such as Dubai, Bulgaria, and France.

Last October, he was seen on video ascending France's largest chimney and bravely walking along the edge of the towering 300-metre structure without any safety harness.
