New Update

Boom. “Ocean’s” franchise lovers, get ready for a brand new ‘all-women’ Ocean’s spin-off, coming in Summer 2018The first poster for the upcoming Ocean’s 8, the all-female series is here.

The very popular Ocean’s 11 film franchise just released a sneak peek of its latest sequel’s poster and fans are overjoyed!

The ultimate power-packed girls' movie will have Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina. The eight female masterminds (because using the word 'thieves' is uncool!) assemble as they prepare to pull off a top-secret heist.

Speaking to EW, Bullock said:  “We’re not a reboot. We’re just a ‘this is what’s happening in 2017.’ It’s not even a passing of the torch. It’s a parallel story of another family member that was raised in the same family Danny Ocean was and what happens when Debbie steps out of jail with all of these amazing, powerful women.”

Earlier this year, actress Rihanna shared a hint on social media, spilling the beans that it’s time women gear up to take the world for a roller-coaster ride. She tweeted:

Though the plot-line is still a mystery, Warner Bros. put out a teaser that hints, “the tide will turn as Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew…”

Reportedly, Matt Damon will do a cameo (presumably as his character Linus Caldwell from the other three films). James Corden will play an insurance investigator, and Dakota Fanning also has a role. Fans of Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Anna Wintour, Adriana Lima and Katie Holmes will have a fun time watching their favourite stars in cameos too.

"It’s really fun,' Sandra told EW about filming in an interview posted on December 6. "Imagine all eight of us crammed into a make-up trailer in the morning. You think that it would be disastrous, but it was heaven, all of us just sharing information, all of us doing three jobs with families, our other jobs, the juggling," she added.

The film is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Gary Ross (who has given us blockbusters like The Hunger Games, Seabiscuit). Jon Kilik is producing the film.

The polished tagline says: "Every Con Has Its Pros!". Somebody, please help me as my body, certainly, isn't ready!
