Kamala Harris Narendra Modi Meeting: The US Vice-President is going to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Washington on September 23. The first formal meeting between PM Modi and Harris will take place just a day before the maiden bilateral meet Modi and US President Joe Biden, officials have announced.

Biden and Modi will meet on September 24 at White House for the first time during a in-person bilateral meeting. The US President is also going to Japenese Prime Yoshihide Suga and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison during the first in-person Quad Leaders’ Summit at White House.
A White House official told PTI, “The Vice President will meet with His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India.”
As per reports, Kamala Harris has spoken to Narendra Modi over the phone during the COVID-19 crisis. The September 23 meeting between the two will be the first time that they will meet in-person. Harris had assured Modi at the time that the US will send tens of thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine to India. Harris is the first-ever Indian origin person to be elected as the Vice President of United States of America.
The world leaders are going to meet in New York for the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly. Kamala Harris will meet British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday, President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Thursday and Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema on Wednesday. She will head the virtual COVID Summit on behalf of Joe Biden on preparations and preventions for the pandemics in the future, White House Officials have said.
