Petito, 22, was reported missing earlier this month after taking a cross-country trip with her boyfriend across the US. Days after search teams were deployed around Wyoming, where police believed she was last seen, Petito’s dead body was found September 19 at Grand Teton, a national park. Her death was ruled a homicide and investigations are ongoing. Her partner Brian Laundrie also went missing soon after the disappearance of Petito and is a “person of interest” in the case.
