On Sunday, a heartwarming post shared by Andhra Pradesh police on Twitter, took all over the social media.
The shared post showed the photo of a proud father Circle Inspector Y Shyam Sundar saluting his daughter, Yendluru Jessy Prasanthi. She is presently posted as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Guntur district.
The father and daughter duo are posted in different locations. Both bumped into each other in Tirupati. They were there to attend the Andhra Pradesh State Police Duty Meet titled ‘Ignite’, being held from January 4 to 7.

According to the reports, this was the first time they met on duty. In an interview with The News Minute, Prasanthi said that she wasn’t very comfortable when she noticed her father saluting her. However, when the moment finally happened, she just saluted him back.
Prasanthi, who hails from the 2018 batch, considers her father as her inspiration. It was after seeing him serving the people relentlessly, she decided to choose the department.

In 2018, a similar situation was witnessed. Former Deputy Commissioner of Police AR Uma Maheshwara Sarma had saluted his daughter Sindhu Sarma, who was posted as the Superintendent of Police in Telangana’s Jagtial district. Photo of this touching moment had also gone viral back then.
