Farmer's Daughter Is Haryana Board Class 12 Topper

It has been Kajal's dream to serve the country. She will fulfill it by becoming a Lieutenant in the Indian army.

Haryana Board Class 12 Topper
Kajal, the daughter of a small farmer in Nindana village, has emerged as Haryana Board Class 12 topper.  She scored 498 marks out of 500.

The girl is a student of KCM Public Senior Secondary School, Nindana, Rohtak. In an interview, she said that she could achieve it because of the hard work and constant guidance of her teachers. "Pay attention to what the teachers teach and explain", she advised other students.

Her mother is a homemaker. She has studied upto class IX whereas her father could study upto class VII due to his father's demise at a young age.

She has two siblings and is the eldest among them.  She wants them to work hard, follow in her footsteps and realise her dream just like she did, according to an ">interview.

She mentioned that her parents always wanted them to study and work hard.

It has been her dream to serve the country. She will fulfill it by becoming a Lieutenant in the Indian army.

She used to study for 12 hours a day. In the remaining time, she would help her mom with daily household chores.

She also explained how she wanted to be the Haryana Board exam topper in class 10 also but fell short of a few marks.

During the pandemic, she would attend online classes and also go to her teachers' place to clear her doubts.

Haryana Class 12 Overall result

The girls outshone the boys in the Class 12 board exams. According to board spokesperson,  2,45,685 candidates had appeared for the senior secondary examinations, of which 2,13,949 passed and 23,604 candidates had got compartment.

Post the announcement of the result, Khattar said, "This is a great example of women empowerment. Various schemes run by the government for girls have boosted their confidence and they are making progress in every field," he said.
