Emma Roberts And Partner Garrett Hedlund Welcome Baby Boy

Actors Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund are now parents! Sources said that Roberts welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Rhodes, with boyfriend Hedlund on Sunday in Los Angeles. According to reports, the mother and child are "doing great."

Emma Roberts Opens Up About Pregnancy

Roberts and Hedlund have reportedly been together for over a year. Elle reports news of their relationship first surfaced in March 2019. By July 2020, sources had confirmed that the couple was planning to take "the next step" in their relationship, hinting at her pregnancy.

Talking about her inclination towards having a baby, Roberts said in a recent interview, "Ever since I was little, I wanted to have a baby, in theory. When I was a kid, I begged my mom to have another baby. The day she brought my sister home from the hospital, I remember holding her, wanting to dress and play with her."

Roberts, who was most recently seen in Netflix's Christmas movie Holidate, has previously been vocal about keeping her romantic relationships private. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, she was quoted saying, "I never want to talk about relationships I’m in or that are ending or have ended. It’s hard enough to be with someone by yourself, let alone with an audience. Because of Twitter and Instagram, there’s a whole other element where everybody can comment on what you’re doing and no one knows the real story. That’s hard."
