Cop son salutes mother in viral image: In a heartwarming incident, a mother-son duo serving in the Gujarat Police shared a proud moment that has now gone viral online. Shared on the official Twitter handle of the Chairman of the Gujarat Public Service Commission, Dinesh Dasa, the post features a mother and son crossing paths and saluting each other while on duty. While the mother is an assistant sub-inspector, her son is a Deputy Superintendent of Police, making him her senior.
Sharing this picture on Twitter, Dasa wrote in the caption. "What could have been the most satisfying moment for an ASI mother to see her DYSP son, Vishal Rabari, stand before her reciprocating her salute bundled with years of commitment and dedicated motherhood with sheer love...!! GPSC celebrates this picture-perfect…!!!"

The mother, Madhuben Rabari, is posted as Junagadh taluka ASI. Her son, Vishal Rabari, is serving as DYSP in Aravalli. Both mother and son arrived at the state-level Independence Day celebrations held in Junagadh. When their paths crossed during the ceremony, the mother saluted her son, who was on duty as parade commander, News18.com reported. Their picture is now going viral on social media.
Commenting on the image, one user wrote, "what a proud moment for that mother." Hard work and consistency are the keys to success, wrote another adding, words are not enough to describe someone's feelings. A picture speaks a thousand words, a third wrote saying that Vishal Rabari made both the mothers proud.
A similar incident took place in Telangana earlier this year when an Andhra Pradesh cop was photographed saluting his daughter, who is appointed as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Guntur district. Circle Inspector Y Shyam Sundar and his Yendluru Jessy Prasanthi were on duty at the same place and were confronted during a meeting. More here.
