The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce the commencement date of class 10th and 12 board exams tomorrow by the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
The announcement will be made at 6 pm on December 31, which will be live on the education minister's social media handles. However, it should be noted the datesheet will not be released tomorrow. The same will be released by the board in due course of time. Ramesh Pokriyal had earlier said that board exams will not take place in January and February, so students can expect the board exams to take place sometime after that.

The Education Minister told ANI that the date of class 10th and 12th board exams have been decided after consulting with several parents teachers and students. He also confirmed that the board exams will not be held online and COVID-19 protocols will be kept in mind while conducting offline examinations.
He said that the education ministries communication with other union ministries is going on and the examinations will be held in the manner as they were held pre-COVID.
“During these difficulties, we have done a lot of work online, but our goal is to reach the last students,” he said.
