Three Men Gangrape Two Minor Girls During A Wedding In Chhattisgarh, One Arrested: Report

Chhattisgarh Minor girls gangraped: In the Surguja district of Chhattisgarh, three men allegedly gangraped two minor girls during a wedding. The accused were known to the victims and reportedly took the girls in their car to a nearby forest on a false pretext of taking them on a ride in the vehicle.

According to Rupesh Narang, who is the Station In-charge at Sitapur Police Station, a case has been registered against the three men and one of the accused men has been arrested. The Sitapur Police said that they are still investigating the matter.

21-year-old boy in custody for allegedly impregnating minor sister

On Wednesday, June 16, a 21-year-old man from Pune was taken under custody for allegedly sexually assaulting and impregnating his minor sister. A local court of Pune ordered the man to six days in custody in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Station.

A case against the accused has been registered under Sections 376, 506 of the Indian Penal Code with sections 4, 5 (j)(2), 5(I), 8, and 12 of the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offence) has been registered at the Chinchwad Police Station.

Seven arrested for rape and murder of two minor girls in Assam

This month, in the Kokrajhar district of Assam, the police discovered two minor girls hanging from a tree. Further investigation revealed that the girls were allegedly raped and murdered. The girls went missing on the afternoon of June 11 and were later found hanging from a tree.

So far, seven accused have been arrested in connection to the incident. According to reports, one of the seven accused was shot in his right leg while trying to escape from the police. An official of the case said that the accused had hidden a sharp weapon at the spot and allegedly attacked the police with it, and injured a constable. Read more about the incident here.

Five-year-old allegedly gangraped by three minor boys

Earlier this month, a five-year-old girl who was reportedly playing outside her house in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh was allegedly dragged by three minor boys who sexually assaulted her and also filmed the obscene act with a mobile phone owned by one of the accused.

The incident came to light after the girl's family filed a complaint at the local Police Station on Monday, June 7.

The Additional Superintendent of Police, Ayodhya Prasad Singh said that the three minor boys were detained by them and were produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, and were sent to a correctional home.
